Anybody wanna buy a Yamaha pianer? The spelling is in honor of Grandad Rose. This is Nancy's pianer, a studio upright , walnut, hardly used. We had it in Houston, then it went to some friends who had it in their house in Tulsa. Mom and I moved it to Eureka Springs this summer . Nance paid around $7000 for it, I'd be happy with $5000. Saw a similar one at Said Music in Tulsa for $8500. Stop by Julie's and check it out, bring a full size pickup.
We had a fun visit with Hank and Judy. They looked great, news of their demise is a bit premature in my opinion. This was my first summer in the US in 7 years - not a bad place but I was glad to get back to the desert. Best thing I found in Uncle Sammy land was shrink wrapped precooked bacon, a big hunk of bacon reduced to a few ounces and no refrig needed. Great for smuggling.
Nick is attending his first week of class at Duke, Nancy and Meg are on vacation in Croatia, Tom and I are here.
One more thing. Anybody want a good fridge? We moved a large Amana fridge to Mom's garage in Eureka, a good deal for $200, that's the family price. Buy the pianer I throw in the fridge for free. Maybe I should go to work for Janell.
