Reunion by Janell Rose
Hello Everyone - I thought better report in. Had a note from Julie over the weekend and she said had not seen anything on RoseNose lately. I have been working trying to finish the downsizing of our booth at the Antique Mall. Have spent the last two days at the Mall and Finally got everything out and all display cases moved. Been a terrible job. I have one more day to move porcelain and glassware to a Display case at an Irving Antique Mall. Then I will be concentrating totally on the Reunion.

Julie is asking about Menu - Eileen is coming over Sunday afternoon and we are going to start making some list - but this is the current thought. We have a wonderful Barbecue Rest. called "Spring Creek" in Irving. I thought would order Ham and Brisket - sliced without barbecue sauce. We have done this a few times when a big group was here. Some people do not like barbecue - their ham and brisket is very good - so people can have with or without barbecue sauce. Then we have a Catfish Rest "TopCat" where I am going to pick up some buckets of Catfish. I am thinking that we will then fill in the rest of the menu - Potato Salads, Coleslaw, Salads, Casseroles, dips, chips, etc. etc. And of course Desserts. Eileen and I were talking - most people are going to be arriving Friday evening - so we thought maybe Pizza, Cheese, Crackers, Fruit, Snacks, Dips, etc. as we would like people to come Friday evening and stay as long as they like. For information - we have Costco Wholesale on one side of us and Two Sam's Clubs very close - so it will be easy to pick up anything we need.

This house is going to be your house and we are really looking forward to as many being here as can possibly come. If anyone has suggestions - please let us know. I am also trying to determine a head count for ordering the meat. Anyone have a pretty close idea of head count? I want to place that order the first part of next week.

I will be watching RoseNose for any Suggestions. Love to All, JR and Janell
P.S. Both Eileen and I have both purchased one of those big packs of Tableware (mixed Knives, Forks, Spoons) for graduation parties - so we don't need any tableware.
